I loved waking up to a continental breakfast, feeling like a jetsetter at the nearby airport, and pretending to be an Olympic cyclist on the bike trails. Oh, and the garden BBQ made me feel like a master chef.
I just adored not having hot water, navigating a treacherous unlit road, and freezing my posh behind with no heating. Simply delightful.

We had an incredible stay at this hidden gem! The peacefulness of the location was just what our young family needed. The hut was not only beautifully decorated, but also spotlessly clean, making us feel instantly at home. We were pleasantly surprised to find a welcome pack waiting for us, including delicious treats and even amenities for our furry friend. The well-equipped room, comfortable bed, and clean bathroom made our stay truly enjoyable.
The towels provided were a bit small for larger individuals.

We recently had a wonderful stay at Trethowels Hidden Huts. The peace and quiet were exactly what we needed for a relaxing getaway. The hut was sparkling clean and beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised to find that the hut was fully equipped for our short stay, and we appreciated the thoughtful welcome pack of milk, tea, coffee, sugar, yogurt, hot chocolate, croissants, granola, and even an Easter egg!
If we had to nitpick, the light in the shower had a tendency to go off, so we had to keep throwing a towel at the motion sensor to keep it on. Additionally, the towels and bathrobes were a bit small for a plus-sized person like myself.

Hidden Gem in St Austell! I was blown away by the fully equipped kitchenette which had everything from a fridge to a microwave and a toaster. It felt like having my own personal chef in a hut!

I absolutely adored the charming and cozy atmosphere of the hotel. The decoration was simply delightful, with beautiful artwork and vintage furniture that made me feel right at home. The general areas were also incredibly well-maintained, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay for senior people like myself. Additionally, the hotel was easily accessible, with ramps and handrails in place to assist us older folks. It was such a relief to not have to worry about navigating stairs or narrow corridors.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation for senior people, it would be to have more staff available to assist with any needs or questions. While the children working there were polite and helpful, at times they seemed a bit overwhelmed, and it would have been nice to have more support readily available.

The toilets and showers were impeccably clean and smelled amazing. It was so refreshing to have such a hygienic bathing experience. the huts were beautifully decorated and created a lovely ambiance. the overall peacefulness of the location was a major plus, allowing for a truly relaxing stay.
There was a lack of hot water during our stay, which was quite disappointing. It seemed to be an oversight on their part.

Loved the continental breakfast, felt like I was in Paris. Enjoyed cycling nearby, almost crashed into a sheep! The garden with a barbecue was a perfect excuse for me to pretend I'm a master griller.
Oh, just loved not having hot water and freezing in the hut, but hey, who needs heating? Who needs a warm shower anyway!

The little touches, like the beautiful artwork on the walls and the soft cushions on the chairs, made me feel right at home. The communal areas were also very accessible for seniors like myself, with comfortable seating and easy navigation. It was a delight to relax and enjoy the ambiance of the hotel.
If I had to ask for one improvement, it would be to have more assistance available for us senior folks. The children working there did their best, but it would have been helpful to have someone specifically assigned to help us with any special needs or inquiries.
